JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – January 28, 2016 – Coastal Spine & Pain Center is sponsoring the Special Olympics Florida Polar Plunge in Jacksonville Beach on January 30, 2016.
The 10 a.m. plunge is for all paid participants but there is also a 5k on the beach which ends with the plunge in the winter ocean.
The Special Olympics in Duval county provides more than 1000 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities sports training and competition through various sports. The funds raised by Coastal’s sponsorship and the individuals who are donating to the race and plunge will help Special Olympics reach more people who want to participate in Special Olympics.
