JACKSONVILLE, Fla., July 7, 2017– Coastal Spine and Pain Center announces new board-certified physician David M. Katz to serve the Bartram Park location.
Katz is a member of the American Board of Addiction Medicine with more than 20 years experience as a medical officer and flight surgeon with the United States Air Force. During that time, he also began work with addiction centers and detox units and served as medical director for several treatment centers, including Duval County Treatment Center since 2015. He is board certified in addiction medicine.
“The extensive background Dr. Katz has with addiction medicine adds depth to the alternative methods of pain management our location strives for and we are pleased to have him as part of our team,” said Coastal Spine and Pain Center Physician John Hunt, M.D.
Katz completed his post-graduate training at S.U.N.Y. in Brooklyn, NY, including residencies and internships at Stonybrook and Kings County Bellevue Hospital’s Department of Physical Medicine. Katz earned his bachelor degree at the Herbert H. Lehman College of C.U.N.Y. in Bronx, NY and his doctor of medicine at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara.
