JACKSONVILLE, Fla., September 6, 2016 – Coastal Spine and Pain Center announces new physician assistant Lori Spilker to serve the Riverside office.
Spilker started her career in emergency medicine working for Emergency Physicians of St. Johns County and St. Vincent’s Hospital. She then spent several years practicing internal medicine with both inpatient and outpatient services before starting her career in pain management.
Prior to joining Coastal Spine and Pain Center, Spilker worked at Jacksonville Spine Center where she provided outpatient care, patient education and performed various procedures including trigger point injections, joint and bursa injections and occipital nerve blocks.
“Spilker’s extensive pain medicine experience will benefit our patients who are suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions,” said Coastal physician Kenneth Powell. “I look forward to working with her to serve our patient’s needs.”
Spilker earned her bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University, Murfreesboro, Tenn. and completed the Physician Assistant Program from Trevecca Nazarene University, Nashville.
