Christopher Menster, MPAS, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with more than eleven years of clinical experience, holding memberships in the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Neurological Surgeons. He earned his Master of Physician Studies from the University of Florida College of Medicine School of Physician Assistant Studies, Gainesville, Florida.
Before joining Coastal Spine and Pain Center, Menster was a physician assistant with the Neurosurgery Complex Spine Team and as an APP Clinical Lead at UFHealth in Jacksonville, Florida. There, he worked with their spine specialist diagnosing and exploring surgical and non-surgical options regarding congenital and degenerative spinal conditions, and in the management of scoliotic deformities, high grade spondylolisthesis, neuro-oncologic spinal conditions and minimally invasive options for treatment. Other skills include extensive operating room, procedural training and acute care management of traumatic neurologic injuries. Menster has organized and managed psychiatric clinical trials for MDD, BPD, anxiety, PTSD, autism spectrum disorders, tardive dyskinesia and fibromyalgia. He was awarded the University of Florida PA Program Clinical Student of the Year in 2017. Menster is a Nationally Certified Physician Assistant and licensed by the State of Florida.
