Dr. Christopher Manees is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology with a Subspecialty Certification in Pain Medicine. He earned his medical doctorate from the Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2006 and completed his Anesthesiology Residency in 2010. Manees finished his pain medicine fellowship at the same institution in 2011, where he managed acute/chronic pain consults. Before joining Coastal Spine and Pain Center, Manees worked for three years at a private practice in Austin, Texas. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Academy of Pain Medicine, and American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. Manees received the Patients’ Choice Award and Compassionate Doctor recognition in 2010 and 2011 during his pain medicine fellowship at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center and again in 2012 and 2013 while in private practice.
