Dr. Ferdinand Formoso is a board certified interventional pain medicine specialist as well as a board certified physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist. After completing his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Buffalo in 1996, he earned his doctorate degree at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001. Dr. Formoso was chief resident for the Temple University/Moss Rehab pain management and rehabilitation residency program in Philadelphia. Under Temple’s Program Director Dr. Frank Falco, a past President of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, he completed his fellowship in interventional pain medicine. Dr. Formoso is a founder of Coastal Spine and Pain Center and serves acute and chronic pain and rehabilitation patients in Jacksonville.
