Pavel Balduyeu, M.D. is a board-certified anesthesiologist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology. He earned a Doctorate of Medicine from Belarus State Medical University in 2007. Dr. Balduyeu completed his internship and anesthesiology residency and a multidisciplinary chronic pain management fellowship at the University of Florida College of Medicine. At the University of Florida Shands Hospital in Gainesville, he served as senior quality anesthesia class representative and as a member of the perioperative analytics group. Since 2017, he has been the chair of the University of Florida Shands Hospital Peer-Review Committee and co-chair of the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists Program Committee.
Before joining Coastal Spine and Pain Center, Dr. Balduyeu authored and published three book chapters on anesthesia and pain management. He has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and presented academic poster presentations and oral presentations in the fields of surgery, anesthesiology and pain management at academic medical symposiums around the world. Dr. Balduyeu is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists Abstract Review Subcommittee for Patient Safety and Practice Management and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia Resident Section Committee. Additionally, he is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Florida Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, Belarus Association of Surgeons and Belarus Association of Physicians. He fluently speaks English, Belarus and Russian.
