Rachael Sanchez is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine who is board certified with the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. In 2008, she earned her Doctor of Osteopathy from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida and completed her transitional internship at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia the following year. Dr. Sanchez’s residency training in family practice was at St. Petersburg General Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida and her fellowship training was in addiction medicine at the University of Florida. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Family Practitioners, American Society of Addiction Medicine, Florida Osteopathic Medical Association and American College of Physicians. Sharing her knowledge and experience in medical training, Dr. Sanchez has given numerous presentations on seizures, EKGs for nursing, as well as a series on diabetic education. She has also volunteered at Virginia Bay Pines, where she participated in patient care under the auspices of the Director of the Hospice Unit.
