JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – October 31, 2016 – Physicians Groups Services (PGS) welcomes Miriam Murray, CHC, CHPC as compliance officer. Murray brings more than 29 years of experience as a certified health care professional to PGS to serve the multispecialty health practice. Her role will be to develop and implement programs and processes within the areas of health care compliance and privacy to ensure staff are following guidelines and maintaining high standards for patients and physicians.

Murray is certified in health care compliance and privacy compliance from the Health Care Compliance Association. She is also a member of the American Health Information Management Association and former subcommittee board member of the American Health Care Association. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN.
Prior to joining PGS, Murray was the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer for National Pain Care, LLC, which operated 16 clinics and three surgical centers in five states as well as the Privacy Officer and Director, Corporate Compliance, for a privately-held senior care corporation which operated 200 skilled nursing facilities in 23 states.
